Earlier this summer, Hog Roast Bacup was hired to cater for a family garden party taking place at a local private residence. The party was being hosted to celebrate June and Martin’s 50th wedding anniversary, with all their extended family invited to join in with the celebrations. For the menu, the Hog Roast Bacup was hired to provide our gourmet BBQ menu, as this always goes down a treat on a sunny afternoon and was sure to be a great addition to the party. The menu needed to be suitable for 40 guests, with people of all ages in attendance and several meat-free guests. We tailored our menu to be perfect for this guest list, ensuring that everyone could enjoy what we had to offer.
In preparation for this event, the Hog Roast Bacup team is planning on serving a wide variety of barbequed main dishes, including succulent pork sausages, veggie sausages, halloumi and vegetable skewers, juicy beef burgers, marinated chicken kebabs, and BBQ spareribs. These dishes will be served in fresh bread rolls, with gluten-free rolls also on offer. For the selection of sides, we will be serving homemade chips, sweet potato fries, gourmet coleslaw, a selection of seasonal salad dishes, corn cobettes, and fresh mac and cheese. We are expecting this menu to be a great addition to the party as there are so many dishes to choose from and our buffet catering style will allow every guest to choose their ideal lunch from what we have to offer.
