Hog Roast Blackpool Excels At Pre-Event Communication

Hog Roast Blackpool enjoys being part of people’s special days. They always play such an important role as they deliver the first meal for the couple as husband and wife/wife and wife/husband and husband, what an honour. Hog Roast Blackpool’s wedding menus provide fantastic choice and even have theatrical aspects for guests to talk about for years afterwards! Hog Roast Blackpool has successfully had weddings book in off other weddings that they have catered at which us always super rewarding.

Friendly catering manager Sophie had the pleasure of meeting the groom and bride to be Shirley and Steve to run through their menu and see the venue. This charming couple are actually having two weddings. Confused? Well, the bride to be Shirley is Australian, so they are getting married in Australia in the new year for Shirley’s family and friends to see and be part of. Shirley has trusted her twin sister and best friend who still live over there to organise the entire thing, the only say Shirley has had is the dress – wow! Shirley and Steve and then getting married in the UK in June for all their English friends and family.

Sophie believes that visiting the venues and meeting the couples before their big day gives piece of mind for both sides. It is super beneficial for Sophie so that she can arrive on the day knowing where she needs to set up and where everything is that she might need such as power.

Hog Roast BlackpoolThe last thing that they do is run through the menu. Shirley and Steve tell Sophie all of their selections. They had to choose four canapés, many choices for the main including two meat options and four sides as well as two desserts. They run through the allergens and let Sophie know of any dietary requirements and finalise the numbers. Sophie will also have the responsibility of cutting their wedding cake up which she found out will be five tiers and each tier is a different indulgent flavour.

The meeting went well, and Sophie and the special couple look forward to the big day.
