Scavenger Hunts, Sunshine & A Sizzling Hog Roast Manchester BBQ – The Perfect Easter Combo!

Hog Roast ManchesterWith the Easter holidays in full bloom, the team here at Hog Roast Manchester has been flat-out busy – and we absolutely love it! Spring is all about fresh starts, sunshine (if we’re lucky!), and quality time with loved ones, and we feel so honoured to be a part of your seasonal celebrations. Whether it’s a big birthday bash, a wedding, or just a “why not?” get-together, we’re always thrilled to bring the flavour.

So, when Rachel reached out and asked us to cater her family’s annual Easter scavenger hunt, we didn’t hesitate for a second – we were in!

Now, in Rachel’s family, this isn’t just any old egg hunt. It’s the event of the season. Every year a different family member hosts, and this time, it was Rachel’s debut. Hosting 50 people (including a small army of picky eaters) is no small feat, and understandably, she was feeling the pressure. But then, inspiration struck – why not bring in the pros?

A quick online search led her to Hog Roast Manchester – North West’s finest, if we may say so ourselves – and after a chat about her vision for the day, we all agreed our Gourmet BBQ menu was the way to go. Fresh, fun, and full of flavour – exactly what an Easter garden party calls for.

On the day of the party, Hog Roast Manchester arrived early to set up, helping Rachel with everything from furniture arrangements to ensuring the food station looked as good as it would taste. As for the decor, Rachel had truly outdone herself transforming her garden into a pastel dreamland. Think bunting, bunnies, baskets, and blooms galore!

Hog Roast ManchesterWith the sun shining and appetites growing, our team got stuck into grilling up handmade beef burgers, gourmet sausages, sticky ribs and chicken kebabs, plus veggie burgers and sausages for the non-meat-eating guests. These grilled favourites paired perfectly with crunchy coleslaw, pasta salad, and crispy mixed fries.

Soon, the garden was buzzing with happy chaos. Children dashed about collecting eggs with chocolatey grins, adults chatted and cheered them on, plates were piled high, and seconds (and thirds!) were encouraged.

And Rachel? She got to relax and enjoy the moment – which, in our book, is exactly how every host should feel.

Here’s to more sunny days, full bellies, and Easter magic with Hog Roast Manchester!
