Hog Roast Rawtenstall Cooks Up A Storm At A Farmers Market!

Hog Roast RawtenstallWhen we’re not busy catering for birthdays, weddings, corporate functions, and beyond, you might think Hog Roast Rawtenstall takes a breather – but you’d be wrong! On the rare occasion we find ourselves with a free slot in the diary, we don’t sit around twiddling our thumbs. Instead, we’re always on the lookout for opportunities to fire up the grills and bring our legendary hog roast to the community.

Earlier this week, we had one such chance when we set up shop at a bustling farmers market, here in the North West. This was the last market of the month, and the turnout was huge, which gave us the opportunity to impress even more people with our culinary skills. And as always, Hog Roast Rawtenstall was ready to put on a show!

Our team put special care into crafting our namesake hog roast, ensuring every detail was just right. We started off by scoring the skin with precision and rubbing in just the right amount of salt – our secret to achieving that crispy crackling. Then, we let the hog slow-roast over a low flame for hours, allowing the meat to transform into a golden-brown masterpiece with the perfect amount of char. The smell alone had people stopping in their tracks!

As the meat cooked, the juices dripped down into our sage and onion stuffing, infusing it with a smokey, rich flavour that had mouths watering before anyone even took a bite.

Hog Roast RawtenstallOnlookers watched in awe as we carved the meat, revealing tender, juicy pork that practically glistened. Our crew pulled the succulent pork with ease and piled it high on pillowy buns, adding a generous layer of stuffing, crackling, and a dollop of our secret recipe applesauce to complete the combo.

Our iconic sandwich had people flocking to our stall all day long, and some were so impressed with our creation that they asked for our business card!

For Hog Roast Rawtenstall, events like these are just as important as our bookings. They help us stay connected with the community and remind people just how delicious our hog roast can be.

If you missed us this time, don’t worry -we regularly post about upcoming events on social media, so keep your eyes peeled. And if you have a recommendation for where we should pop up next – let us know! We’re always looking for new places to show off our skills.
