This spring, Hog Roast Burscough was hired to provide catering at a local community centre. The centre is run by a team of staff and volunteers, with Stacey in charge of organising communal events. She aims to host a wide variety of activities and events to attract all members of the local community, and one thing that always goes down successfully is a delicious meal. For the spring event, she planned to provide a delicious meal from Hog Roast Burscough, alongside a variety of games and activities for younger guests to enjoy. At Hog Roast TOWN, we discussed our selection of buffet menus with Stacey, who decided that our Gourmet BBQ menu would be ideal for the occasion. This menu includes a wide variety of dishes and is perfect for enjoying in the sunshine!
In preparation for this event, the Hog Roast Burscough team is planning on arriving at the centre with plenty of time to prepare for the 12:00pm mealtime. We will begin by grilling the main dishes, including succulent pork sausages, veggie sausages, juicy British beef burgers, halloumi and vegetable skewers, and marinated chicken kebabs. The mains will be served in fresh bread rolls, with gluten-free rolls also on offer. For the side dishes, guests will be able to enjoy corn on the cob, crunchy coleslaw, homemade chips, sweet potato fries, and a selection of fresh salad dishes.
