Christmas is fast approaching and like clockwork that familiar December chaos is beginning to creep in. You know the feeling. But tucked between all that festive hustle sits one of the best parts of the season: the work Christmas do. No matter how many years pass, there’s always a particular buzz that comes with it.
Hog Roast Lancashire is in the unique position that allows us to attend many workplace parties – not just our own. And this won’t be the first time we’re packing up our kit and heading over to Hilti’s Manchester warehouse to fuel their festivities with some proper good food.
On the 8th of December, we’ll be rolling in ready to serve a proper Christmas spread. Just picture slow-roasted pork with that irresistible crackling that snaps just right. Applesauce that hits the sweet spot and sage and onion stuffing that tastes like Christmas in one bite.
And because no festive feast is ever really complete without the big bird, we’ll also be roasting whole free-range turkey paired with cranberry sauce (naturally). You can’t skip cranberry at Christmas. We’re pretty sure it’s the law…
Of course, Hilti’s team isn’t made up solely of meat-eaters, so Hog Roast Lancashire is bringing some plant-powered joy too. Grilled veggie and halloumi skewers for those who want something light and colourful, and our BBQ pulled jackfruit rolls for anyone after a flavour-packed vegan option.
And you didn’t think we’d forgotten the sides, did you? Absolutely not. We’re showing up with all the essentials: cauliflower cheese with its golden crust, glazed seasonal veg, pigs in blankets (the first thing to vanish, every single year), fluffy roasties and enough gravy to drown your plate in the best possible way.
Dessert keeps things just as cosy. Homemade mince pies with warm brandy cream or slices of Yule log so rich and chocolatey no one can say no. (Excuse us, we’re drooling already…)
Hog Roast Lancashire genuinely can’t wait to see the Hilti crew again – and we’re confident this feast will go down just as well as the last.
