All I can say is WOW!
Our garden party was a huge hit with special thanks to Spitting Pig! We’ve never had a Hog Roast before, but my husband was very keen to give one a try. Now I don’t think we’ll ever have any other catering! The pork was delicious, crackling was super crunchy and don’t even get me started on the stuffing. DIVINE.
Not only was the staff attentive but they were complete professionals – arrival and clearing up was done without a fuss and you’d have barely guessed anyone had been there at all!

Our guests said the food was superb. I remembered to bring in bags and containers so that guests could take seconds home:). Not much left-so really pleased with that.
The two caters were brilliant, the day was absolutely foul weather wise - it did stop raining for serving time thankfully.

The service was faultless, Sophie and (so sorry cannot remember his name) arrived in good time, didn't require much input and just cracked on with getting things ready.
The communication was great and they actually had food ready early which we had said would be great if it was possible. The meat was cooked perfectly & loved the stuffing and selection of sauces.

My wedding was catered by Spitting Pig North West. It is so hard to find a variety of food for 50 people, but they helped me through it all. From my tasting appointment all the way to the end of my wedding night she was available and helpful. The food was absolutely amazing. All of it was just great. I just knew it would not be as good as it was at the tasting but was I ever wrong. There were compliments from everyone. And the 2 servers were absolutely amazing. They had Jeff and I plates fixed for us when we walked into the reception. I’m so sorry that I’ve taken so long in getting back to you. I have just seen something of yours on Facebook and it reminded me that I hadn’t done it yet.
Firstly thank you for everything at our wedding. To be honest I was worried having hog roast because you can get some that aren’t very good. This was not the case. Gary helped answer any questions before the wedding and was very helpful with suggestions and ideas. On the day they set up themselves with no dramas and everything was presented beautifully.
Every part of the food was outstanding. The canapés went down a treat, everyone raved about the Yorkshire pudding and sausages. One of the staff even fed me some when I had no hands free. There was plenty of food and the sausage and bacon butties were lovely at the end of the night. They cleared up and took all rubbish which was great as it was no hassle. Everyone spoke very highly of the food and staff.
I can’t thank you enough for everything and will be recommending you in the future. Thank you.

I would like to say a huge thank you for such a fantastic job of catering at my husband’s 60th birthday party on 14th July.
The whole process from enquiry to delivery was handled so professionally and felt completely personal. I particularly liked that we could build up our own menu to suit the occasion and personal preferences. The direct access to Dave, our chef for the event, was very welcome and how well he and Anna May delivered.
The catering proved completely hassle free from my point of view. They arrived exactly on time, set up without any effort from us other than to sit and enjoy the wonderful smell of the cooking. Everything was included – the hog roast, salads, a wonderful coleslaw, stuffing, apple sauce, crackling cooked to perfection and a mouthwatering whole salmon – served with napkins and disposable plates/cutlery. We received many compliments on the night for an amazing spread.

The Hog roast was fantastic, all our guests loved it and all remarked how tender and tasty the meat was (with many guests returning for 3rd and 4th helpings).

Fab-u-lous! The food was delicious. The lads, Aiden and another one were punctual, delightful, professional and everything worked like clockwork. I ordered for 40 and 32 ate. There was loads left and everyone continued grazing throughout the night. The lads left the place spotless.
When they left, many took meat for sandwiches and curries and the only waste was the beautiful tomatoes.
