Corporate Catering – Celebrating The Move Into A New Location

North West - event - GeordieJust at the foot of the Yorkshire Dales lies Barnoldswick; a former mill town which now homes many scientific and engineering companies and we were thrilled to be asked by Broughton Laboratories to cater for them at a party to celebrate them moving buildings into a new location.

Hog Roast Barnoldswick has catered for many local businesses around the area and gained phenomenal feedback that reinforces our belief that we are the best at what we do; there are so many good eating places locally and remote caterers that we know that we must deliver great quality food with exceptional service, each time, every time.

This event was relatively small; we were asked to cater for 40 guests, but we always make sure that every event, no matter how big or small, is special and delivered with the utmost care.  Hog Roast Barnoldswick not only caters for corporate events but also caters for many other types of client including birthdays, private parties, weddings and charity events all with a tailored menu that we discuss with each client to ensure that the most suitable choice is made.  Hog Roast Barnoldswick has six standard menus to choose from ranging from a “hog in a roll” option for informal events, through to fully catered and waited on events with proper china, canapes and desserts for more formal, sit down, celebrations.

We arrived well before the event was due to start and liaised with the organiser to discuss set-up time and access for loading which was pretty straightforward; we set up with the beautiful and picturesque Yorkshire Dales in the distance and with a temperature of 27 degrees Celsius, we knew that it would be a scorcher!

North West - pig Once the guests started arriving we got the hog roast started so that everyone could smell the mouth-watering aromas to get the stomach juices flowing and this created immediate interest with many guests chomping at the bit to eat some of the delicious hog in a roll and veggie skewers that we had prepared.  There may only have been 40 guests but my goodness, there was nothing left at the end of the party with everyone coming back for seconds!
